5 Signings That Would Resurrect Arsenal

With all of the panic among Arsenal and their fans, its clear that the club is in a very sticky situation and it seems they have been for a while. Each year, Arsenal ill prepare their side and always fall short of winning the title. Now, with 4 days left until the transfer window closes, anybody that Arsenal buy will be seen as a 'panic buy'.

90 mins have made a list of fife players that would have been perfect for Arsenal and maybe they still could be...

1. Virgil Van Dijk

Arsenal v Southampton - Premier League

Van Dijk is probably the most talked about Centre Backs in the premier league right now, with almost every top 6 club after him. The 26 year old stands at over 6 foot 3 inches tall and has a brilliant physique. - something that Arsenal don't have anywhere in their side. With bags of Premier League experience, Van Dijk would restructure Arsenal's defence and potentially resolve all of their defensive problems on his own.

2. Julian Draxler

After PSG signed Neymar in the biggest transfer the world has ever seen, whilst remaining interested in Monaco's youngster Kylian Mbappe, Draxlers option to stay at the french club were cut short. Draxler possess the attributes which a player playing in the wide areas would require, but there is so much more to the dynamic side of his game that it would be unfair to restrict him as a ‘winger’. This means that it would give Arsene Wenger the perfect opportunity to switch up his players roles, something he has done a lot in the opening three games of this season.

3. Riyad Mahrez

Arsenal v Leicester City - Premier League

Premier leagues player of the year in the 2015/16 campaign, Riyad Mahrez quite clearly has the qualities to help a side to the Premier League title. In his best season, he scored 17 goals and provided 11 assists, something that Arsenal would benefit from as Mahrez would often step up in big games.

With the departure of Oxlade Chamberlain, the need of a winger will haunt Wenger after he realizes injury prone Theo Walcott isn't enough. Arsenal have been rumoured to have bid around £35 million earlier in the transfer window.

4. Jean Michaël Seri

FBL-FRA-LIGUE1-GUINGAMP-NICE

Jean Michaël Seri is an Ivory Coast international plays as a central midfielder for OGC Nice in the Ligue 1. Many compare him to the likes of Naby Keita and N'golo Kante for ChelsA strong, athletic midfielder, something Arsenal have missed out on since Patrick Viera left in 2005. At 26 years old, he is just coming into his prime and has the ability to become an even better player at a bigger club like Arsenal.

his dynamic style would offer Arsenal a link from defence to attack whilst maintaining their free flowing football - the heart of Arsenal's style. The perfect player for Arsenal, there is no better time to bring him in than now.

5. Jack Butland

West Bromwich Albion v Stoke City - Premier League

Jack Butland is only 24 years old, but has already proved himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League for Stoke City. Arsenal have always had consistency problems with their goalkeepers and it appears Arsenal fans are becoming tedious of being weak at the back. When they signed Cech in 2015, fans were promised he would save them 10-15 points per season, instead he has been just as inconsistent as previous gunners goalkeepers, finding himself fighting for a place ahead of £3 Million Colombian keeper David Ospina.

With the addition of a young and exciting keeper, it would re boost fans hope and give them hope that their are positive changes at Arsenal Football Club.
